Ashley Paculba, LMFT, smiling with her chin resting on her hand
nice to meet you

Hi, I'm Ashley.

Therapist. Pattern-breaker. Big believer in second (and third) chances.

If you've landed here, something probably feels heavy right now. Maybe your brain won't stop replaying the same worry. Maybe you've checked the mirror, the lock or your own thoughts one too many times today. Maybe you're raising kids with someone you can barely text without bracing yourself.

Whatever brought you here: you're not "too much," and you're not stuck forever.

So who am I, anyway?

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist · CA LMFT #146705

I founded Resilient Overcomer Counseling Services because I believe people aren't defined by the worst chapter of their story. I know firsthand what it means to have someone believe in you when life is hard. The teachers who stood by me when I needed it most planted a seed that grew into this work. Now I get to offer that same hope to others.

I work with kids, teens, adults, couples and co-parents, all through secure telehealth, anywhere in California. That means therapy from your couch, your parked car on a lunch break, or wherever you feel most at ease. Yes, that's a range. Here's the thread that ties it together: I help people get unstuck from patterns that are running the show, whether that pattern lives in an anxious brain or in a co-parenting relationship that keeps circling back to court.

I'll be honest with you, I'll cheer you on, and I'll probably make you laugh at least once, even in the hard sessions.

Why "Resilient Overcomer"?

Resilience isn't never falling down. It's learning, one brave step at a time, that you can get back up. Life may hand us more than one hard chapter, but the strength to overcome was in us all along.

What working with me feels like

01

Real talk

No jargon walls and no textbook voice. I'll explain what's happening in your brain (or your family) in plain language.

02

Tools that actually work

Research-backed tools (like Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and anxiety and Gottman for couples) that don't just sound good in session. They work on a random Tuesday, too!

03

Zero judgment

Intrusive thoughts, messy custody situations, the stuff you've never said out loud. I've heard it, and I'm still in your corner.
